| My wife (Patti) asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday this year. I thought back over time and realized that one of the best birthday parties ever was back in 1998 when George and Audrey DeLange brought me up to Sedona Arizona to experience the Christmas lights at Los Abrigados Resort. I told her that I'd like to do that again, and with George and Audrey, if possible. So we drove to Sedona, in light snow, and first had dinner at the "Steak and Sticks" restaurant at the resort, and then took the leisurely walk through the resort enjoying the many displays of lights. The temperature was hovering at freezing, with a light snow falling....a magical setting to enjoy one of the most spectacular display of Christmas lights in the country.....It was truly a memorable birthday party! |
